November has just begun, so I have started writing my novel. It's pretty awesome so far. I gave up for the night at about 880 words - half of what I actually need on a given day. I think starting out behind is a bad idea, but it's been a pretty late night, so I'll have to catch up later. Perhaps I should adjust my daily goal to adjust for more writing on weekends?

Let's see, if I did 1,000 words a day instead of 1,666 I would need to do 3,331 words per day on weekends. That seems like a lot of words, considering my vocabulary only consists of, like, somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 words (weird, huh?).

So I'm not ready to reveal the plot of my story yet (mostly because I don't know it yet), but I will tell you is that I've settled on a near-future time and a name for the main character. Writing so much with no story in mind yet is difficult.
